I'm not gonna eat off the floor and you shouldn't either. They need to do a better job hiring deli workers that care. Went through all of this for a $4 refund on a can opener. That is when I told her it was for my dad who had since passed away. She went on to tell me where I should have got it. When I told her the can opener only lasted one can her response was "How old are you?" She then gave me a lecture on why I should know better than to buy a can opener from her store. When I got to the counter she was leaning over the counter and asked if I wanted a refund on the pizza receipt that had accidently fallen into the bag as well. After a long wait I decided to do my shopping while we waited. She replied " I will be there in a little while". The nice young man at the counter called the manager for a return. After a few weeks I was going by for a few items so I brought it in to return. I put it back in the bag and put it in my truck. I leave my office in Bayou George and drive to Compass Lake in the evening to cook and care for him and although it was not my first choice it was on the way.
I manage to always find little gems that I probably would overlook in the bigger storeīought a can opener here for my elderly dad whom I take care for in the evening after work. I love the Walmart Market because it gives you a small hometown feel in a city setting. Young man went out of his way to help me find a product! Rare to see young people these days actually doing their job and not complaining. Great staff always going out of their way to help any way they can.
